Who Can you Find on Flingster?
When our team signed up for Flingster to test out their service, they currently boast 22 142 370 people have joined. This is an impressive number. One thing we will be investigating is how many females are using their random video chat, and what you can expect once you create an account and give them a go.
You can login with google or create an account with email. The moment we made our account we saw this pop up:
This will give you three options. Ranging from a $7.99/trial which rebills monthly at $29.99, or 1 month and 6 month plans. This is to unlock all features. We took a close look at exactly what features they are referring to, since this isn't even mentioned on the sales page or anywhere obvious.
It's once you enter the website that you'll notice you're being paired with other men by default. When you click on females, this is where you get taken back to the upgrade page. So you have to become a paying member before you can even browse any females. For us this wasn't really a great sign, as we don't know what to expect. Since we want to provide you with as much complete information about flingster as possible we decided to sign up for the $7.99/trial.
Just keep in mind if you take this option it automatically rebills after the 7 day trial and then costs $29.99/month. For the purposes of this review we decided to test for a few days then cancel before any rebill. They did not attempt to charge us and cancelling was easy so that's bonus points for them. They use SegPay and what shows on yoru statement after purchasing does not mention flingster, if privacy is important to you.
After paying for membership on flingster, here's what happened:
We wanted to see what kind of girls we could find. There are 14 different chat rooms to choose from ranging from "sex chat" to "roleplay" and so our team went through all of them. We found there were a large number of males online, but very few women. This was not what we expected after upgrading, but to be fair they make no promises of how many females are actively using flingster.
It would appear this is another video chat site which is another sausage party, even if you pay for the upgrades. Our verdict is that these chat sites have a fundamental problem attracting a lot of active female members, and flingster was no exception. They have a below average trustpilot rating, and don't respond to their complaints which isn't a good sign. Overall we think you have better options.
