A closer look at Pink Video Chat
They invite you to explore and chat with "thousands of verified people" around the globe, with no sign up needed. We decided to put pink video chat to the test with a closer look.

So the first thing we do is click the "start video chat for free" button and we're given 125 free tokens to get started. It costs 9 tokens to select your preference which in our case is females.
We were able to scroll through some females, and it allows you to send 1 message before being asked to upgrade to continue. Like many other random chat platforms, they want you to pay before really getting to chat with anyone.
How do you upgrade on pink video chat?
They sell you coins, with the cheapest package starting at just $1.50. The more coins you buy the lower their price. This is similar to buying tokens on cam websites. They accept credit cards through google pay, and no other payment options. There are no subscriptions or recurring bills to worry about which is a good thing.
How is this different from standard cam sites?
This is where our team can't help but question the point of these random chat sites. While they are branded as a way to 1 on 1 video chat with strangers, they are really like downgraded versions of cam sites, with some deceptive qualities to them. Rather then getting to browse through thousands of cameras easily and choose models you want to talk to, you are just paired with someone random.
And like so many others we've tested, they make it seem like you are chatting with someone privately, when in reality its a group chat and they are just hiding all the other members from you. Making it appear like a 1 on 1 chat. We personally find this to be a deceptive practice, and don't see the point in buying coins just to be paired with random public chat rooms. This is something you can get for free on any established cam site like jerkmate so we think it's best you stick with the cam sites and don't waste your time on pink video chat. 💯
